STRUCTURAL DESIGN:
Structural analysis and design of low, mid and high-rise residential, commercial and public buildings, air port facilities, train guideway elevated structures, shopping centers, industrial buildings of reinforced concrete and structural steel utilizing the latest design techniques. Structural design of girders, frames, trusses, arches and prefab structures. Design of prestressed, post tensioned girders, flat plates, hollow core slabs systems and shells. Design of bridges, elevated train track support system, ramps and industrial use floor systems. Structural investigation of numerous existing structures, determination of structural capacity and compliance with applicable codes, reports, cost estimates. INVESTIGATIONS AND REPORTS:
Investigation reports and recommendations have been made for a variety of construction and building structural and functional problems. Structural evaluation has been performed for numerous parking garages, office buildings, shopping centers, condominium and apartment buildings, hotels, bridges, residential housing communities, industrial and commercial buildings, water tanks and water treatment facilities. Also included is analysis for structural failures, evaluation of the damaged structural components, compliance of existing structures with applicable codes, forensic investigation of the existing buildings for their compliance with the applicable building codes and permitted drawings, accidents during construction and safety measures to protect structural failures.

BUILDING CODES:
Research and recommendations for development of the design criteria for South Florida Building Code. Included is research, review of other major building codes and make recommendations for design loads, structural glazing, roofing, coastal protection, foundations, piles, roof trusses, fire proofing, product control and approval certification, recommendations for unusual structures such as plane hangers, and fabric roofs.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT:
Field inspections, coordination with owner and contractors, payment requisitions, change orders, shop drawings, construction schedules, impact on construction schedule due to additional work or changes, construction standards and safety requirements during construction and materials testing and evaluation. Also included is bidding phase, pre-bid meetings, familiarize contractors with the projects, and evaluate the bids received. Field inspections as threshold inspector, special inspector, compliance with permitted drawing and building code and for quality of in-place construction.

EXPERT WITNESS
Investigations of existing structures, reports, assistance to the attorneys, preparation of court exhibits, coordination with other experts, sworn testimonies as expert witness, repair recommendations, repair budget estimates.

Studies, reports and recommendations for comparison of various available alternates based upon cost, performance, maintenance, constructability and longevity. Studies and reports have been prepared for financing and capitalization aspects, productivity, long term planning. Evaluation includes cost estimate, construction schedule, warranties and maintenance cycle.
